All the children from Hope Valley Farm School that participated in the competition were wearing our smiley shirts. The shirts did not make them win, but they did really well. And Hope Valley Farm School, with their colorful smiley shirts from Children of Zululand really stood out.
One of our young ones, and one of the kids that Thore has been sponsoring and in the last couple of years has been working for us in Siphezi School, has now started his own business - an internet cafè in Eshowe.

ANC member and Mayor of King Cetshwayo District, Cllr Nonhle Mkhulisi was admitted in hospital on December 31st and sadly her condition did not gety any better. On February 3rd she succumbed to Covid-19 related complications.
