2020 has been a different year - in so many ways. Both the founder and our staff have had sad losses of close family members. The covid-19 has made it impossible to travel and make progress in our projects. But we have worked in the background. We are still working on establishing an orphanage. We have still helped many of the children and disabled in need, financially, with clothes, sponsoring studies and field trips and much more. And we have worked on our web page, to bring it up to 2021 standard.
We want to keep our donors, sponsors and other supporters updated on what is going on with our children. We want to give you an insight into their lives, their stories and their needs and challenges.
Unfortunately, many of the blog posts from before 2020 are not visible. We are working on a solution for this.
Pictures shown on our blog are taken by us or our co-workers. We keep written approvals from photographed individuals on file.
Comments can be deleted by us, if we think they are abusive, discriminating or in any way can be considered a violation of any law or our ethical standards.

The Madela House is finished and it really looks good. The family has moved in, they were given furnitures by the sponsors, Kvalitetslosen AS and Rådhus Panorama and as you can see from the pictures, it is a big event for them.

Leikanger barneskule (the primary school of Leikanger) has made it a tradition that the 4th grade are in charge of making an annual arrangement, with the purpose of gathering money to different projects for the benefit of children in Africa. In the beginning, a primary school in Zambia were getting to donations, later years the donations have been given to organizations helping children in Zululand.

Bodil desided she wants to buy her sponsored child, Ayabonga, a bicycle for his birthday now in July.

The Contractor has started with the Madela house in that the foundation has been laid and attach herewith some of our first photos of the process. As mentioned before we will keep you updated on the progress. Needless to say, the family is very happy and look forward to moving into their new home.
