2020 has been a different year - in so many ways. Both the founder and our staff have had sad losses of close family members. The covid-19 has made it impossible to travel and make progress in our projects. But we have worked in the background. We are still working on establishing an orphanage. We have still helped many of the children and disabled in need, financially, with clothes, sponsoring studies and field trips and much more. And we have worked on our web page, to bring it up to 2021 standard.
We want to keep our donors, sponsors and other supporters updated on what is going on with our children. We want to give you an insight into their lives, their stories and their needs and challenges.
Unfortunately, many of the blog posts from before 2020 are not visible. We are working on a solution for this.
Pictures shown on our blog are taken by us or our co-workers. We keep written approvals from photographed individuals on file.

For some reason, his passport was not accepted and he had to stay behind to have a new passport made. He joined us on our 3rd day, so he didn't get to see much of Cape Town, but the rest of the travel we were all present.

Read moreA few years back, Children of Zululand funded money and built a house for Sipho. Since then we have visited him every year, when we are in Zululand with a new delegation. Sipho has no way of communicating, but he expresses himself through gestures and sounds and it is not very hard to see that he really appreciates our visits. The children in the area obviously enjoy our visits as well, always bringing footballs and sweets and clothes for them. They come running when they see our white mini-van, they know what we bring.
